WSU Kicks off the 2011 Season Against Wyoming

It's a great day for Weber State University football fans, as WSU travels to Laramie to kick off the 2011 season at 7:00 p.m. against The University of Wyoming, of the Mountain West Football Conference. The Standard-Examiner provides these pre-game teasers this morning:

We've checked the local listings; and (no surprises here) it appears today's game won't be available on local TV. A live audio version will be broadcast online at WSU's new broadcast headquarters, KZNS-AM, of course:
Sorry folks, we couldn't find a source anywhere for a video broadcast. WSU football broadcasting seems to be in some respects marching backwards, technology-wise. In that connection though, (and on the positive side), here's something you might wanna take for a test drive:
It's exciting to have WSU return to the gridiron; and we'll be closely covering our home town team right here on Weber County Forum tonight, and through the rest of the season.

Best of luck, coach Mac and the WSU squad. A victory over a the Cowboys would be a fantastic way to kick off the season.
