At least you're willing to discuss the faltering national economy and banking system. Now lets expand that to the war, torture, rendition, executive power abuses and consolidation, patriot act, FISA, 911, Plots on Iran, Plots on Pakistan....just getting started.
You want gondolas and DB Cooper, we can squeeze them in as soon as we take responsibility for our murderous government and do something about it.
William Norman Grigg explained the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac fiasco beautifully, but,sadly, Congress wasn't listening. Only Ron Paul - who previously warned of the disaster such a "bailing out" would cause. Now, we will be worrying about which bank might close next and what other dire circumstances will occur? It was an excellent article, though.

I just got around to reading those links on this post. Great reading.
The current republicans are a bastardization of the foundation of that great party. I would never claim membership though I claim the principles. Always have. The concept of limited government is an old one. Today's conservative phonies irritate with their shrill fear mongering and militaristic posturing. Would someone please give them a big truck and a codpiece so they can bellow amongst themselves about how manly they are.
