Two Feet Forward and Two Miles Backwards

The stalemate's over and Senate business as usual is back.

According to the Standard-Examiner this morning, former State Senate president Valentine has taken up current President Waddoups vendetta against alcohol. He has introduced a bill to put 10 foot walls around persons mixing alcohol and make it illegal for persons to show any sign of being drunk.

WOW-2 feet forwards and 2 miles backwards. Just when we had a chance of coming into the real world. Gotta love it. Only in Utah!!

Ray, it looks like the ruzeka for lunch bunch has resigned themselves to fact that their ability to work their agenda under the guise of rationality is useless, given all the Butters flap. They once again have returned to their true over zealous, misguided and self rightous selves, I'm surprized they haven't resurected the "Inquisition".

Beginning to think that that quip about Utah being the only country entirely surrounded by the United States of America isn't as far off as I thought it was....

Confidential to Jason W.: Where are you when a thread like this cries out for your Hellerian strafes?

Didst thou give us up for Lent?

Does 10' wall mean 10' high? What do they plan to do in buildings with normal 8' ceilings?

I heard on the hill that indoor smoking has moved out side, only if they make a Hugh ashtray go all the way around the building.

Republicans want a 10 foor wall in resteraunts, so the press, and members of their church won't see them having a drink.

Will there be a ten foot wall at the Alta Club?

If the Utah taxpayers had a dime for every time some Mormon legislator has dinner and consumes a couple of bottles of wine at the Alta Club, we'd all be millionaires.

Ask anyone who works there.
