WSU Football Game-day Thread: Wildcats Gear Up for Big Sky Road Battle at Montana State

The question becomes if Weber State (3-1, 1-0 Big Sky) can play at the same level on the road in hostile territory

The 'Cats are back on the road this afternoon, facing off against perpetual constant Big Sky Conference nemesis Montana State University. The Standard's Brandon Garside provides the pre-game story, of course:
Mr. Garside puts a "fine point" on today's pre-game question, wethinks.

"The Wildcats and Bobcats kick off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The game will air on ROOT Sports/AT&T Sports Net, with a radio call on 1430 AM KLO."

WSU Football: Weber State Comes Up Short 33-20 At Cal

Anytime a lowly Big Sky Conference football team dang near whoops a Power 5 PAC-12 team, that's a "moral victory," in our book

Just a few words about yesterday's Weber State Wildcats thrilling pre-season game:

"The turnover margin really hurt us and hurt our momentum.  "I thought the play calling was very good and we moved the ball well. We have a tough team that really fought today. There are no moral victories and we very well could have pulled this one out but Cal made the plays when they needed to. We left a lot on the field and had chances to win, we didn't make the plays down the stretch," said WSU head coach Jay Hill.

Read the full story, Peeps:
Nonsense, Coach Hill, sez we. Anytime a lowly Big Sky Conference football team leads at the end of the third quarter and dang near whoops a Power 5 PAC-12 team, that's a "moral victory," in our book.
