Panicking Mitch McConnell Says GOP Will Help Hillary Beat Trump If He Wins The Nomination

Keep your eyes peeled, people. Seeing is be believing, no?

Fascinating 2016 election theory, via Addicting Info.Com:
In the most surreal moment in modern American politics, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told panicking Republicans that the GOP would actively destroy Donald Trump’s election chances if it came to that. That rush of warm air you feel on your face? It’s the wave of radiation from the Republican Party’s nuclear meltdown. We’re witnessing the death of a major political party.
Things are getting truly desperate in conservative camps and the grim acceptance that this isn’t a bad dream and that Trump is almost surely going to win the nomination has begun to set in. It’s led to an odd plan. In a stunning report by the New York Times, Republican sources confirm that party leadership is planning to destroy Trump and give Hillary Clinton the win rather than let him have control of the GOP.

It’s The Kochs, Not Republicans Prohibiting A SCOTUS Nominee Vote

Koch Brother Jackasses

It’s The Kochs, Not Republicans Prohibiting A SCOTUS Nominee Vote

Wake up, people.

The Evil Koch Brothers should be hobbled, knee-capped and crippled.

Seriously. these ancient and decrepit bastards should already be "out to pasture."

Weirdness in the 2016 Election

We expect there will be another five or six other Senate Republicans who'll jump ship from the crackpot Republicans, along with Kirk and Collins

Surprise of surprises, two vulnerable Republican incumbent US senators can read the way the blue state polling winds are blowing, and are breaking from the rest of their twisted fascist party, over blocking President Obama's eventual Supreme Court nominee.
We expect there will be another five or six other Blue or Purple State Senate Republicans who'll jump ship from the crackpot Republicans, along with Kirk and Collins.

And so, What SAY YOU. lol?

Standard-Examiner: 14-year old Ogden-based Folk Prodigy Hitting it Big

Whoa!  Check out the lede, Peeps:
OGDEN — By all indications, Sammy Brue’s musical career is on a major upward trajectory.
Brue, 14, of Ogden, is an up-and-coming folk/Americana singer-songwriter who last year released his fist EP, “I Don’t Want You To Leave.” On his website,, the recording is described as one that “touch(es) on heartbreak, jealousy, God and suicide.”
Since the release, Brue has been featured in magazines like Rolling Stone and American Songwriter and has played well-known, long-established music festivals like the Newport Folk Festival and Summerfest. He’s sponsored by The Loar Guitars and is said to be close to a deal with high-profile record label.
Here's the full skinny on this story, via The Ogden Standard-Examiner's Mitch Shaw.

House Stops Move to Undo ‘Count My Vote’ Compromise

Via Count my Vote: "We applaud the Utah House of Representatives for keeping their word and standing up for election reform. All Utah voters should have a voice in our elections"

The Trib has the full writeup. Here's the lede:

The Utah House quashed a move Wednesday that would have erased a 2-year-old compromise about how political parties pick their nominees.
By a 42-30 margin, representatives defeated an amendment that would have allowed parties to select their nominees by any method they choose. The Utah Republican Party has been suing to seek that power and overturn SB54, passed two years ago.

Read up, Peeps:
And who's the asshat who advanced the amendment which was defeated on Wednesday?

"Rep. Justin Fawson, R-North Ogden, proposed the amendment to a bill that sought a "minor" (hahaha) change to how alternate delegates for conventions are chosen."
"I did run on a platform of preserving the caucus-convention" system, he said, adding he was elected after the SB54 compromise was enacted.

Yes. Weber County Forum also applauds the Utah House of Representatives. As for this Justin Fawson person... This dolt is now on our Weber County Forum political "hit list."

Mises.Com: If You Want Bigger Government, Vote Republican

So, is a vote for the GOP a vote for less government spending, more fiscal restraint, and "personal responsibility???" It's hard to see how one could possibly construe that from the historical record.

Read up, Weber County Forum voters:
And don't be a political dumbass. Do NOT EVER vote Republican... unless you wish to be a slave to the evil Koch Brothers.

The Folly of ‘Taking Back’ Federal Lands

Awesome article via AdventureJournal.Com ...
Read the "money quote," my fellow Utahns!

Anyone who wonders what Western states would do with U.S. land should consider what they’ve already done with it. In exchange for relinquishing all claims on public property, new states were awarded “trust lands.” Trust lands have generally been used to create revenue via oil and gas extraction, logging, mining, and outright sale.
For example, of Nevada’s original 2.7 million acres of trust land only 3,000 acres remain. In Colorado you can fish and camp on virtually all federal land and hunt on most. But you can’t hunt, fish or camp on most state land because it’s reserved for extractive industry.
