There were two front page stories in this morning's Standard-Examiner which no doubt lifted spirits at Ogden City hall this a.m.
First, it appears that the ongoing petition drive has failed.
Second, it's reported that a SLC private developer would like to open negotiations with the Ogden RDA for purchase of a lot at the old mall site, for construction of a six-story condo tower.
It's gotta be "all smiles" on the "ninth floor" today.
I'll be out for a while, so please feel free to discuss either of these stories or any other topic that suits your fancy.

In regards to the proposed new office building at the Mud Hole site I say good, Right Arm and goforit.
If it is private enterprise using private money I am all for it.
If there is public money envolved to make it happen I say BS!

I made a posting to your blog and it said it would save it and maybe post it later! Does that mean that you have to run it by the mayor first to get approval to post? Is it true that this site is just another front for the administration to diseminate its propoganda? Are you the Quisling to the Mayor's Adolph?

I received a notice from my host site that they'll be doing some routine maintenance this afternoon. It always slows things down a bit when they do that. I'm betting that's probably what happened.

Just think: a guy can fly his corporate jet into the Ogden Airport and get some "through the fence" service while he goes to the Mall and works out on the wall before bowling a line or two. Then its but a stone's throw to the Tram for a scenic lift over Ogden's central city then a nice journey over the scared forest of the Wasatch for a meal at the recently opened restaurant on Top of Old Smokey (Mt. Ogden). Then back aboard the Tram to be let off at the Riverdale WalMart for some shopping before catching a bus for the airport and disembark. Too bad Sneddon's not still the mayor for if he was he could stop on the 24th Street viaduct and see two trains collide head on.
