We're guessing Dr. Peter Clemens has 30 IQ points over Dumb Rob Bishop. Additionally, and unlike Bishop, Clemens isn't pocketing $millions in donations for selling off off Utah's natural resources to America's greedy billionaires.

The debate begins at 9PM ET/6PM PT.Host of NBC’s Nightly News Lester Holt will be moderating the debate. Tonight, all the questions will come from the moderator, but Facebook will be collecting questions throughout tonight’s debate for the next presidential debate on October 9th.

Happily, by the time the primary election rolls around on June 28, each of these candidates will have been thoroughly vetted

Better late than never (we hope) we're delighted to report on the next two  events which are coming up, for those WFC political who are following the upcoming Weber County Commission election:

ROY — Who will become the next Weber County Commissioner? Voters who cast ballots in the June 28 Republican Primary will make that decision, and there are two opportunities this week to get acquainted with Caitlin Gochnour and Jim Harvey, the two candidates vying for the job.
* Ogden Liberty Forum Roundtable, 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 8, at the Southwest Branch of the Weber County Library, 2039 W. 4000 South, Roy.
* Weber County Republican Women Debate, 7 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at the Southwest Branch of the Weber County Library, 2039 W. 4000 South, Roy.

To provide a forum for candidates to inform Weber County residents about where they stand on the issues, the Olene S. Walker Institute of Politics & Public Service at Weber State University is partnering with the Weber County League of Women Voters and the Standard-Examiner to hold a debate between the two Republican candidates for Weber County Commissioner, Caitlin Gochnour and Jim Harvey. Greg Halling, Standard-Examiner executive editor, will moderate the exchange.

The essential question is whether the corrupt GOP convention system will shove another "good old boy" down the Weber County lumpencitizens' throats, or alternatively, whether the smart, and politically dedicated Caitlin Gochnour, with eight years' proven experience on the Ogden City Council, will succeed in overturning the current County Commission logjam against an unproven political newcomer..
