Reader query: In which races was the Trib spot-on; and with which endorsements did the Trib entirely miss the boat?
With under two days until Tuesday's 2012 Utah election, the Salt Lake Tribune summarizes this year's endorsements, for those who may be undecided about Utah's major races. "Over the past several weeks, The Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board has published editorials giving our recommendations on who should be elected to various local, state and national offices, and outlining the reasons why." In the realm of political ideologies, it seems that the Trib is "all over the political map." Many of these picks may come as a shock for those who like to characterise the Trib as a "left-wing rag." Check it, out folks:
So what do you think, WCF readers? In which races was the Trib spot-on; and with which endorsements did the Trib entirely miss the boat?

Rudi,
I noticed the WCF endorsements did not make a choice between former State Senator / current IBM Exec. Scott Howell and long time Senator Orrin Hatch. What say ye?
Our pick for US Senate: Scott Howell. Not only is Howell an impressive candidate, but in our view, Orrin Hatch is a good example of why term limits are needed.
