Helpful Hints From Your WCF Blogmeister

Rudi provides yet another helpful clue for urban survival

You know that it would be untrue,
You know that I would be a liar,
If I was to say to you,
Girl, we couldn't get much higher.

Come on, baby, light my fire,
Come on, baby, light my fire.
Try to set the night on fire.

The time to hesitate is through,
No time to wallow in the mire,
Try now, we can only lose,
And our love become a funeral pyre.

Come on, baby, light my fire,
Come on, baby, light my fire.
Try to set the night on fire. Yeah!

The Doors (Jim Morrison)
"Light my Fire"
1967

As reported in today's Standard-Examiner, an amorous (but jilted) Ogden homeboy (are there any other kinds?) apparently took the legendary Jim Morrison's above lyrics a mite too seriously yesterday.

Attention all Ogdenites: Remember -- No matter how hot your passion is... don't be this guy:

"Man lights himself on fire at former girlfriend’s home"

And here's some additional advice. Don't depend upon your ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend to "quench" your fire, especially when violating a restraining order whilst soaked with gasoline. The guy in today's story just got lucky, wethinks.

Just another helpful hint from your old pal Rudi.
