Let your ever-humble blogmeister be the first to say (once again) how extremely proud we native "homeboys (and gals)" are of our adopted "Ogden home town boy," Dan Schroeder!!!
In the aftermath of today' earlier WCF story, here's a fantastic Salt Lake Tribune Op-ed follow-up tribute to WCF's own frequent contributor Dan Schroeder, written by yet another Utah political commentary heavyweight, Former DNews reporter and editor and current BYU Communications Professor Joel Campbell!

Thank you Dan for doing the hard work that others, myself included, only talk about! You are truly an asset to the community!
The article says Dan hasn't made many friends while doing his work.
But I know that in fact, he has. One of them is me.
Interesting that the article did not say anything about the co-conspirators in the FANUR crimes. Those being:
1. The State Attorney General and his office for not prosecuting when they could have and should have.
2. The Ogden city and Weber County attorneys for the same reason.
3. The Standard Examiner for not mentioning a word of the crimes in spite of them knowing full well that they had happened.
4. The LDS Church for continuing to turn a blind eye to this church leader's (so called) serial dishonesty and criminal conduct.
Thank you, David. I rolled my eyes when I read that. What Campbell means is that I've made some enemies. But of course, I've also made many wonderful friends.
