Although we've been hog-tied with personal business for most of the day, there's one more immediately upcoming local event we'd like to spotlight this evening, before it's too late.
In that connection, the Standard-Examiner published a heads-up article this morning, highlighting tomorrow's Ogden City Veteran's Day Parade, which begins its march through the streets of downtown Ogden around 11:00 a.m.. • Patriotic parade steps off SaturdayWe've attended this parade every year since its inception on November 6, 2006, when the original parade route proceeded east on Ogden's Historic 25th Street, then north on Washington Boulevard, and then west on 24th Street, and then south again to Ogden's Lindquist Park. We published an article memorializing that event and we have the pictures to prove it.
For unknown reasons, the Boss Godfrey administration has now designated a route through Ogden backstreets which completely avoids the traditional heart of our city. Perhaps for subconscious reasons Boss Godfrey wants to again remind parade attendees of his most conspicuous financial failure -- The Junction -- inasmuch as tomorrow's parade route essentially wraps around that grand monument to mayoral hubris and stupidity.
We'll be standing along the parade route tomorrow nevertheless.... tiny digital camera in hand. If you spot a fairly large teary-eyed powerlifter-type draped in a giant Hawaiian shirt, standing along the parade route and occasionally snapping a crisp U.S. Army-style military salute, be sure to step up and say hello; odds are that'll most likely be your blogmeister.
Let's all also step up and support our active troops, reservists and veterans tomorrow. They've sacrificed and continued to sacrifice so much... and they've done it and continue to do it for all of us.

It's not a secret that Ukraine's economy is currently in crisis. Despite this, there are experts who, under the guise of public servants working against the state, they are trusted to hold high office, paid a decent wage, but ...?
One of these figures is Vyacheslav Busarev, - Chairman of the tax service Crimea. The person that you can put in an example of many politicians, in fact, Vyacheslav Busarev got start in a career public servant when the power was Party of Regions, however, remained in office until the present time, when the Party of Regions is in opposition, and why?! Quite simply, V. Busarev works in your pocket, but not for the budget of Ukraine, "feeds" the superior leadership of STA of Ukraine and is one of their own with any authority in the country. I turn to specifics, confirming all the foregoing.
There is a notion of "tax hole", a company that creates cost-of-business counterparts by providing them a tax credit. Put simply, helps companies contractors to inflate their costs, thereby minimizing taxes in the budget, and sometimes in the millions turnover reduces taxes in the budget to zero. As you are aware, the activities of such enterprises must be immediately stopped Revenue Service, but under the direct supervision of V. Why then, when the alleged total control of the tax, the above-mentioned subjects without inspections cease to work and in their place created in one day from three to five such enterprises, with those registered in one day, on the same individuals also one day issued a certificate of VAT payer, in the absence of current accounts in banks.
All these businesses are "helped" to the contractors to hide hundreds of millions of tax hryvnia, which budget the money of the country. Accordingly, a "thank you", ie free, these companies would not exist. So enterprising V. Busarev overlaid with the activity "tax in his pocket," namely, the rate of this "tax" amounted to 0,8% of gross turnover of each of these enterprises, which in the end, millions of hryvnia. But, as you know, without support from above, such "activity" would not exist. Therefore, B. Busarev must give up some of the money, Deputy Tax Administration of Ukraine V. Kayzermanu, who in return, for it supports W. Busareva and monthly plans, or reduce the tax revenues of the Crimea in the budget, or when the threat of its failure to adjust downward.
At that example of V. Busareva, it becomes clear how the tax authorities are becoming millionaires
