Standard-Examiner: Patterson Job Offer May Violate Law

Looks like Patterson's landed squarely within his own "comfort zone," no?

It appears that our announcement of John "Pureheart" Patterson's recent appointment to the Casper, Wyoming city manager job may have been a mite premature, folks. Patterson's not even under contract yet, and allegations of illegality already surround his new office:
Did the Casper City Council break the law even prior to swearing Patterson in to the city manager's post? Looks like Patterson's landed squarely within his own "comfort zone," no?

Of course he's not worried.  They assured him their "hearts are pure" on this.

The Casper city council is hiring this bona fide creep at the outrageous sum of $170,000 a year, in violation of state open meeting laws, and all while acting like they couldn't care less about the law, which for them is merely a nuisance.

Golly!  Does this guy fit in there or what?!

John Patterson, going or not?  Taking Blain Johnson or no? (Satire)"I know I didn't do anything wrong," he said "I took the money and the job and I reported it." Patterson said he believed Casper City was a legitimate organization, despite not being able to come up with the names of anyone associated with the decision to hire him."Patterson said Casper was established by some cattle rustlers who have an office in the building where he works, but declined to identify the thieves or the firm."Patterson said while his original statement was accurate, he amended them to address Casper's dilemma "I don't believe I did anything wrong," he said.

Didn't anyone in Casper Google  why Patterson was run out of West Valley to come to Ogden? Or just look at past WCF articles here to see what type of person they were considering to add to their city.

We can only hope that Godfrey follows him there. We are waiting for the filing period to end to see if the mayor will really not run again.
