Get the full details here:OGDEN -- The funeral for slain Ogden Officer Jared Francom, whose death rattled the state and captured much public attention, has been set for Wednesday at Weber State University.
The service for Francom, 30, will begin at 11 a.m. at the Dee Events Center, 4400 Harrison Blvd.
Excellent choice of a venue, wethinks, for the many grieving friends, family collegues and ordinary citizens who'd like to attend Officer Francom's last rites, and pay their final respects.
The Standard also carries Agent Framcom's obituary this morning, (which also announces a public reception for friends at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at Ogden Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.), both in its S-ELive online version, and in the hard-copy print edition :
