A last minute pitch for your generous contributions
Here's a quick followup on Tuesday's WCF story, wherein we urged our readers to help Councilwoman Jeske make bail.
We just got off the phone with Dorrene a couple of minutes ago. Although she's received many generous pledges and donations, she still remains about 300 bucks shy of her $1200 goal. She's scheduled to surrender herself to MDA authorities at high noon today.

THANK YOU!! I want to THANK the generous people who have help me "make bail" and donated to the Utah Muscular Dystrophy Association. They assured me that all of your dollars stay in Utah and a good share in the Top of Utah.
I appreciate your donations with all my heart (I really don't want to spend ALL day "in jail." And I have a work meeting this evening.)
I invite any one who can make it, to visit with me and other "Jail Birds" who are scheduled to be at Rickenbacker's "Jail" at 12:00 Noon. We are scheduled to be there one hour or until we "make bail." There will be some "jail" refreshments and lots of drawings for some great prizes.
