We just received this comment heads-up from gentle reader Dan S. in a lower thread:
Speaking of physics, tonight is the 3rd annual WSU Physics Open House, 5:30 - 9:30 pm, in the Lind Lecture Hall at the northeast corner of campus. This is a free family event with lectures, demonstration shows, and hands-on activities. Here's more information from the WSU website:
• Physics Department to Host Open House for All AgesLooks to be even more fun than even an evening of Watch Mr. Wizard reruns, we think.
We hope all the budding young physicists out there will plan to attend.
