Std-Ex Editorial: The Senate Pauses on HB 201

Rep. Gage Froerer, and the Ogden Valley victims of HB466, should continue the fight to stop "Powder Mountain Town."

Another fine Standard-Examiner editorial this morning, on a topic that's been a passion of ours here at Weber County Forum of late:
OUR VIEW: The Senate pauses on HB201
Bravo, Editorial Page Editor Doug Gibson and the Std-Ex editorial board.

Rep. Gage Froerer, and the Ogden Valley victims of HB466, should continue the fight to stop "Powder Mountain Town."

I read the editorial and was pleased with it's message. My question is, where was the Std. Ex. when an editorial may have made a difference? I may be wrong but don't recall strong support from them earlier.

Ray, you are right. It seems the Std. Ex needs to build up a head of steam to get on these issues. It has been frustrating for all of us. I will say there seems to be a new attitude on the editorial page since Doug Gibson took over.
