Surprise of surprises: The Salt Lake Tribune just endorsed Barack Obama for president

Ouch!  From the point of view of the Mitt Romney campaign, this has gotta hurt!  In the event you've been off hiding in cave somewhere, here's the afternoon editorial which has set traditional news media and social networks all over the world all a-twitter.  The Salt Lake Tribune just endorsed Barack Obama for president. Read up, folks:
And yep, this story has gone completely viral, according to this afternoon's Trib followup George Pyle column, (along with the non-Trib graphic we've embedded at the right of this WCF article):
There'll be much weeping and gnashing of teeth in the Romney camp, we suspect.

Of course Romney ain't doing so hot in his own home state of Massachusetts either, so perhaps this is actually no big deal, right?

So what do our gentle readers have to say about all this?

You know you really suck when even The Salt Lake Tribune endorses the other guy.

There are just enough Mitts. Since he wants to claim favorite son status in 3 different states. There is a Mitt for Massachusetts, one for Michigan, and one for Utah. He is just offerening something for everyone.

Rebel With a Cause2: Whatever vendetta The Salt Lake Tribune   was exercising against Romney, they would have been wiser not to endorse either candidate, especially after the tragic debacle  in Benghazi, Libya which Obama handled so badly. He had his press secretary, Jay Carney, his United Nations Ambassador, Susan Rice, Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and he, himself ( at the United Nations and on The View) all continue to say for two weeks that the organized terror attack that killed  the American Ambassador and three other Americans was a spontaneous  uprising  caused by a video wbich was insulting to the Prophet Mohammed, played on the internet by an American in California  who has since been arrested and put in jail.

This is worse than Watergate, where Nixon lied about what he knew  about the breaking-in of the Democratic Headquarters by his people, or when Clinton lied about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Nobody died in those cases.
