In the midst of a fairly competitive Utah Governor's race, here are a few points Utah voters ought to consider, from The Salt Lake Tribune, wherein Utah's premier free speech newspaper endorsed the wrong candidate for the Governor's office:
• Gary HerbertIt's probably OK. The so-called liberal Salt Lake Tribune endorsed Dubya twice; and look at how that all worked out.
Cutting to the chase, we find this in the SLTrib letters section from an old WCF friend of ours:

I would've loved to hear the conversation with the UEA, who also endorsed Herbert:
"You're going to endorse Caroon? You'd better hope he wins. I can sign the legislation that they send to me next time, and you will disappear like a fart in the wind."... er
Gez Oz, it looks like there are a lot of Herbert supporters who read the WCF. But I'm with you on this one.
It has long been the contention here that the S-E is too spooked by possible withdrawal of advertising to criticize Elder Godfrey's mayoral oafishness and quackery.
Looks like the contagion has spread south. SLT's endorsement of Elder Herbert is unconscionable.
Well put Moroni, it's good to see you posting again.
Bungled campaign? GOP sharks circling Herbert
